Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary science consisting of biology, mathematics, chemistry, and computer science. Despite our advances in technology and the knowledge of drugs and diseases, transforming these benefits for treating diseases is not fast enough. 

In this webinar, we explain the de novo drug development procedure, then we analyze available databases. Finally, we speak about drug repositioning as a strategy to hasten this process.
